What is the event?

Lo shodō Japanese calligraphy (書道 shodō) is traditional Japanese art style that uses brushes and ink to write “Kanji”, or other Chinese characters. For a long time, the most esteemed calligrapher in Japan had been Wang Xizhi, a Chinese calligrapher in the 4th century, but after the invention of Hiragana and Katakana, the Japanese unique syllabaries, the distinctive Japanese writing system developed and calligraphers produced styles intrinsic to Japan.

“Onore-sho” is the art of writing with a brush fountain pen-bestowing a freedom to write and sketch pictures out of the box.Our goal is to share the pleasure of the world. We believe that “Onore-sho” and its special nature can help people build a special bond with each other. General incorporated Associations Nihon Onore-sho Dojo.
